It is about time to check your DV-2025 Lottery Status!

I just want to remind you that DV-2025 results will be coming up from May 4, 2024. Every DV Lottery participant can check their status on the official website: dvprogram.state.gov from May 4th, 2024, to September 30th, 2025. To check your status, you have to enter your Confirmation Number, your Last Name, and your Year of Birth.

Every year, the U.S. State Department’s Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program offers a chance for applicants worldwide to pursue a visa through the Green Card Lottery.

Breaking Down the Numbers: For DV-2018, around 14.7 million qualified entries were received, with approximately 116,000 applicants selected for 50,000 available visas. This translates to roughly 0.79% of qualified applicants receiving a notification, and fewer than half obtaining a diversity visa.

Equal Chance for All: Despite the odds, all qualified applicants have an equal opportunity in the random selection process, provided they meet eligibility requirements and submit a complete application.

Entry Requirements: Applicants must be born in a qualifying country, possess a high school education or relevant work experience, and adhere to the application process guidelines.
